Joseph Ybarra

Joe Ybarra is an industry veteran with an extensive list of accomplishments. As one of the founding members of Electronic Arts, Ybarra pioneered many of the now standard methods of game production and game company management, co-inventing the “producer” role in game development.
Ybarra has produced more than 50 computer and video game titles, for platforms ranging from early personal computers, consoles to the latest Windows based PCs. Some of his titles, such as Bards Tale, M.U.L.E., Starflight and Wasteland have been voted into Computer Gaming World's Hall of Fame.
In addition to his legacy of pioneering computer entertainment titles, Ybarra has been at the forefront of MMORPG development. He is currently working on his fifth MMORPG, Stargate Worlds.
Ybarra also has extensive experience marketing products worldwide, handling licensed material, and managing business development with third-party developers.
